LMS COORDINATOR

We are looking for a Coordinator to support the flow of communication with and workflow among the Learning Development division. This position works closely with other LMS staff as well as staff from other departments. Responsible for the coordination of a corporation-wide training and development system including developing, implementing, revising and maintaining training programs to provide consistency and continuity of learning throughout the organization. Monitors & reports on training compliance, effectiveness and training system improvements. Ensures learning events are relevant, timely, and designed with adult principles in mind.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·        Maintains and coordinates training review of multiple programs, record keeping and plans by LMS dashboard, scorecards, stats/trending, goals or additional requests by staff, which are returned or delivered in timely and accurate nature

·        Coordinates the course feedback process, facilitating or escalating issues appropriately

·        Maintains and updates version and course materials information in learning management system

·        Updates and maintains portions of the departments SharePoint site

·        Uses content management system to support learning development projects

·        Ensures final work products conform to department standards

·        Communicates with Training staff about the completion of learning materials

·        Other duties as required

PREFFERED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

·        Experience facilitating the development of a learning management system

·        Experience working in a content management system

·        Experience working with collaboration tools, SharePoint a plus

·        Experience working on multi-demand and multi-priority projects simultaneously

 

EDUCATION

·        One to two years’ experience in the learning and development

·        Experience in oil and gas industry a plus

·        Coursework in learning and development or a related field a plus
