Assa Abloy Acquisition of HID Corporation

George P. Shenas, Incorporated, acting as West Coast co-counsel with Dechert, represented Palomar Technological Companies (PTC) and HID Corporation (HID) in connection with the merger of those entities into a U.S. subsidiary of Assa Abloy AB, a publicly held Swedish corporation which is the world's leading manufacturer and supplier of locks and associated products. HID is the worldwide leader in access control cards and readers.
Prior to the date of the mergers, the firm acted as general counsel for PTC and HID and continues to represent HID after the merger closing.
